Certified Organic Arctium Lappa (burdock) Extract
Burdock root has been used as a remedy against skin cancer in Chile, China, India, Canada and Russia. Its recognized as an excellent remedy for acne and eczema and restores the smoothness of the skin. Also acts as an astringent and purifier.
Certified Organic Plantago Major (plaintain) Extract
Plantain leaf soothes and heals many skin conditions. It is toning, an astringent that contracts skin tissues and it reduces oil secretions of the skin.
Certified Organic Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel) Leaf Extract
Witch Hazel leaf extract soothes inflamed skin and acts as a protective agent. It is astringent, anti-free radical and anti-inflammatory.
Certified Organic Echinacea Purpurea Flower Extract
Echinacea herb is used internally as a blood purifier. Externally, it helps speed the healing of skin conditions caused by acne, eczema and other problems. Firms, stimulates and tones the skin.
Certified Organic Urtica Dioica (nettle) Extract
Stinging Nettle leaf is said to increase micro-circulation of the skin and has astringent benefit. It stimulates metabolism and is used in the treatment of dark circles around the eyes.
Sclerotium Rolfsii Gum
Sclerotium rolfsii gum is a natural gum sourced from bacteria that produces an instant gel base when combined with water. It is a polysaccharide produced through a fermentation process of sclerotium rolfsii on a glucose-based medium. Sclerotium Gum has natural skin smoothing as well as soothing properties. It is used primarily in the cosmetic industry, but can be safely ingested.
Citrus Aurantium Amara (bitter orange) Fruit Extract
Bitter orange has a very complex chemical makeup with many health enhancing effects. Great topical antioxidant that is loaded with Vitamin C.
Santalum Album (sandalwood) Essential Oil
The pure essential oil from sandalwood is said to strengthen the connective tissue and dermis and help water retention in the skin. It is an excellent hydrating oil for dry skin. It is healing and anti-bacterial, making it useful for acne and itching in general.
Certified Organic Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) Essential Oil
The pure essential oil from the freshly cut tops of lavender flowers is useful for all skin types. It regulates sebum production, fosters the regeneration of new skin cells and soothes inflamed skin.

Usage Tips

  • How To

    On clean moist skin, massage 2 to 3 pumps of conditioner gently onto face, throat and decolletage. Use twice daily (am/pm) as described in the Skin Essentials 3 Step regime. After cleansing (Step 1), then apply Conditioner (Step 2), wait a few minutes and finish with Miessence Moisturizer (Step 3).
