For many years (20 or so) I have suffered from adult acne. I have had some success short term but nothing that kept my skin improving. I discovered Miessence 12 months ago and at first I had more redness but was advised to keep going and allow my skin to detoxify. I continued using a combination of soothing products and rejuvenating profile, masks and the beautiful serums. Members of my family had not seen me for 4 months and couldn’t believe the difference in my appearance over that time. 12 months down the track I no longer have lumpy cysts, my puffiness has gone and my scarring is gradually improving. Why Complete Is Key!

Protein quality is dependent on having all the essential amino acids in the proper proportion. If one or more amino acids are not present in sufficient amounts, the protein in a food is considered incomplete. Diets that are very low in protein or that are very restrictive in the types of protein consumed (e.g., vegetarian diets) may not provide complete protein.

Our bodies use amino acids in a specific ratio to each other. If we don’t get enough of one of them to match with the others, they can only be utilised at the level of the lowest (limiting) one.

    Add a scooper (1.5 tablespoons /25g) into a shaker jar or blender with of cold water, juice or any milk of choice. Shake vigorously until smooth and frothy. I have used various protein powders most of my adult life. This protein powder is very different from any others I have tried. This powder is not meant to be a meal replacement or to be used as a “shake”, like many powders out there. There is no rich, creamy taste, but it also doesn’t have all of the artificial fillers to give it a shake consistency. If you prefer a morning shake, you can add your own ingredients and ice and blend on! I can add Miessence Protein Powder to my morning juice or I sometimes add it to oatmeal or quinoa breakfast cereal after it’s cooled a bit. I also use it in baking sometimes. It’s got a mild, nutty flavor. If you’re using it in smoothies, it will take on the flavor of whatever you add to it. I find it mixes well in a shaker or blender best. Just stirring it in will produce lumps. The longer you can shake/blend it, the better results you’ll have.


I use the Complete Protein in my smoothies. I can’t taste it at all. I do notice the major benefit of it though; I’m never hungry for at least 3 hours afterword. That is a benefit I never got from whey or soy protein.
